About Grain of Truth

Science is the foundation. Building something useful is the job.

Grain of Truth combines nutrition science, food science, business judgment, and project leadership to turn evidence into tools and counseling people can actually use.

Founder

Geremy Kerr, MS, RDN

Registered dietitian, food scientist, business graduate, and experienced project and operations leader.

I did not arrive at nutrition from a straight line. I arrived after spending most of my life in a larger body and discovering how wide the gap can be between knowing what to do and building a life that makes it possible.

In 2016, I lost more than 100 pounds. That experience did not make me a nutrition professional; it gave me the question I wanted to spend my life answering. I went back to school, completed degrees in dietetics and food and nutrition sciences, finished a 1,100-hour dietetic internship, and became a registered dietitian.

I also brought another career with me: a business degree and years leading national sales teams, education centers, operations, and cross-functional projects in the United States and abroad. Grain of Truth is built from both halves of that history—the discipline to evaluate evidence and the practical skill to turn it into a system that works.

What guides the work

A useful standard for every future tool.

01

Show the source class

Reviewed evidence, label data, estimates, and unknowns stay distinct.

02

Build around the decision

Complexity is justified only when it helps someone choose or act better.

03

Keep professional boundaries

A tool should say when individualized care is the more responsible next step.
